Savings Champion Rate Alert

Friday 6th January 2017

RCI Bank^ has now raised the interest rate on its Freedom Savings Account to 1.01% gross/AER, pushing it to joint top of our easy access best buy table, alongside the Post Office.

Although this is a small increase, it's a step in the right direction and hopefully the positive news will continue throughout 2017.

Alternatively, for those looking to maximise their return and retain easy access to their money, up to 5% AER is available through High Interest Current Accounts*, from the likes of Nationwide. Or for those looking for a Fixed Rate Bond, up to 2.01% gross/AER is available from Masthaven Bank for a 5 year term.
