We’re proud to have announced the winners of our fourth annual Savings Champion Awards, which recognise the efforts of those providers looking to support savers in a number of different categories.
There are many names to mention this year, including RCI Bank which stormed to the top of our Easy Access table since they launched back in 2015 and have remained there ever since! New provider Atom Bank have impressed us with their innovative technology, coupled with competitive rates for those savers happy to apply via the app.
Hampshire Trust Bank is the recipient of our prestigious award for Customer Service this year, having demonstrated to our clients and in our dealings with them that they know what is at the heart of supporting savers and that’s looking after them with high quality customer service. It is not just about getting people through the door, but supporting them once they’re customers, so they want to stay with them.
It is particularly pleasing to see some providers winning awards for a number of years running, demonstrating real consistency year on year. Aldermore has scooped up the award for best business savings account provider for the third time and this is the second year in a row that Charter Savings Bank has come out on top for Notice Accounts.
Shawbrook Bank, Vanquis Bank, Virgin Money, Coventry Building Society, Nationwide Building Society, Saffron Building Society, Teachers Building Society and Cambridge & Countries are also among the winners this year. You can view a full list of the winners on our Awards page.
As our Awards are independently chosen through a comprehensive and detailed judging process, we hope this will help you to pick through the savings market and focus in on those providers that offer consistent value and high levels of customer service.
