Marcus has been ousted from first place in our easy access best buy table by Kent Reliance.

The improved Easy access account - issue 31 now pays 1.50% gross/AER, an increase that also benefits those who already opened the account at the lower rate.

Unlike the rival account from Marcus, there is no introductory bonus included in the headline rate and for those who prefer alternatives to online applications, the provider also offers branch and postal options.
