🔔 Virgin Money passes simplicity test

All eyes are on Virgin Money, following the takeover of Northern Rock.  Its revamped savings range is a vast improvement.  The easy access and ISA account both pay 2.85% on balances of £1 upwards.

Whilst better rates are out there, Virgin scores points from us for simplicity.  Neither account fiddles the figures with bonus rates - handy for anyone wanting to park their cash without having to move it when bonuses dry up.

But don’t get lax over the lack of bonuses as the rate is still variable so can change.  Sign up for our free Rate Tracker service to keep you up to date with any rate changes.  We’ll also tell you if better deals appear.
