Yorkshire Building Society (along with Barnsley and Chelsea Building Society) have launched a new fixed rate product available as a bond or an ISA both paying 1.75% AER (1.74% for monthly income). The accounts are fixed for 16 months with access on closure only during the term, subject to 90 days loss of interest. The fixed rate ISA is competitive, especially as it allows transfers in. Both accounts are available via the branch and post for Yorkshire, Barnsley and Chelsea Building Society, however you can also access them online for Chelsea and Barnsley only.
