Shawbrook Bank launched two new accounts today, both of which take up residence in our fixed rate cash ISA best buy tables. Meanwhile, OakNorth has also been busy and ends the day at the peak of our one year fixed rate cash ISA table.

OakNorth - Savings Champion Awards 2019 Finalist

Shawbrook's latest one year fixed rate ISA took the lead in our table this morning, edging ahead of Wesleyan Bank, and the newly-launched OakNorth account (paying 1.76% tax free/AER)

Shawbrook's new offering pays 1.77% tax free/AER and claimed the leading spot by a whisker.

Later in the day, OakNorth launched another new version of its one year fixed rate ISA, paying 1.78% tax free/AER. As a result, OakNorth claimed the leading position from Shawbrook Bank, but again by a hair's breadth.
