National Savings & Investments (NS&I) and Santander returned to our best buy tables today, both with competitive cash ISAs on offer.
NS&I has increased the rate on its Junior ISA, which sees the account feature in our best buy table in second position, paying 3.25% tax free/AER.
NS&I also improved the rate on its Direct ISA, which now pays 0.90% tax free/AER - despite the increase this account doesn't make our top five.
More on these accounts can be found in our recent article - NS&I increases the rate on two of its tax-free savings accounts.
Santander launched a range of new accounts today, most noteworthy of the bunch are two new cash ISAs.
First up, the new joint market-leading 1|2|3 eISA (Issue 5), paying 1.50% tax free/AER, which takes the leading spot in our variable rate cash ISA table.
The second account making our top five - its new 1|2|3 two year fixed rate cash ISA pays 1.90% tax free/AER, holding second position in our table.
Both of these new accounts are available to both new and existing 1|2|3 World or Santander Select customers.
